Back-end Java Developer

Job Description:
We’re seeking someone to join our Non-Financial Risk team as a Back-end Java Developer to help WM Monitoring Team contribute the control models in order to improve resilience.

What you’ll do in the role:
• Work with Risk and Compliance to build surveillance models.
• Help and maintain the internal frameworks.
• Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, DevOps and other teams in understanding surveillance model requirements, designing, implementing, and testing surveillance models in fast paced agile manner.

What you’ll bring to the role:
• 3+ years of working experience of Java
• Strong proficiency with Core Java with strong understanding of J2EE
• Strong Database experience preferably with DB2, SQL Server
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Spark on bigdata platform experience is an asset
• Scala experience is preferable
• Complete SDLC process and Agile Methodology (Scrum)
