Full Stack Developer

Our Company’s Prime Brokerage – Client Digital Technology (PB CDT) department is looking for a talented full-stack developer to join the team in Montreal. The PB CDT team provides external Prime Brokerage and Fund Services clients and investors with a digital omni channel offering (web, mobile, API) through our flagship Matrix platform. Functions include rich portfolio and what-if analytics, accounting, and more.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to develop creative solutions to meet business requirements
• Work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a global cross-functional team
• Develop intuitive, modern, and responsive applications with an emphasis on high quality user experience for our clients
• Write clean & maintainable code with a focus on testing, performance & security
• Adhere to development standards including code reviews, high unit test code coverage and proper regression tests
• Take part in full software lifecycle from analysis, development, testing, to release and deployment
• Implement monitoring and observability best practices

Requirements:
• Proficiency in frontend technologies (Typescript, Angular, CSS) and backend web application technologies (Java, REST APIs, relational databases)
• Knowledge of application architecture and design
• Understanding of software engineering best practices
