Roles Responsibilities

This role is for a Scrum Master within the HR Data & Analytics Technology organization and is focused on reporting products such as Tableau and SAP Business Objects as well as the data governance product Collibra. The Scrum Master promotes and supports the agile process within and outside the squad. This includes:

  • Managing the squad and delivery of the MVP and business priorities

  • Managing blockers, obstacles and dependencies

  • Leading the Agile squad and the product owner on the Agile process, such as writing useful user stories and managing the backlog

  • Working with organizational resources outside the squad to help them interact effectively with the squad, removing impediments and insulating them from organizational bureaucracy

  • Fostering a collaborative culture and ensure the squad regularly celebrates success

  • Bringing together stakeholders for alignment meeting

  • Organizing training

  • Reporting on squad improvements

  • Facilitating ceremonies such as daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives

  • Facilitating creation and maintenance of squad artifacts such as backlog, definitions and norms, etc.


REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years’ experience as a Program/Project Manager

  • Experience in Program/Project management for complex development projects with multiple different technology platforms

  • Working knowledge of HR systems

  • Vendor management

  • Knowledge and expertise in JIRA board creation and management

  • Good understanding of all aspects of the Software Development lifecycle, Agile software development and JIRA tracking software

  • Strong communications and writing skills

  • Strong business analysis and problem solving skills

  • Ability to liaise with diverse groups (Tech, HR, etc)

  • Ability to manage and escalate risks and issues
