This Project Manager role is a part of the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Office of the COO.
This role and the team will support the multi-year business transformation underway at Hitachi Vantara, with responsibility for owning and driving all project management needs and activities for cross-functional initiatives under the transformation banner.
Can clearly connect project objectives and overall strategic impact to the business, always tying your work with the bigger picture.
Orchestrates all aspects of a transformation initiative.
Proactively manages the team's execution plan and provides objective visibility into team progress, risks, issues and changes in scope, schedule, budget, or quality.
In your role, you will be responsible for standing up, coordinating and tracking projects through their life cycle, from strategy to execution to successful completion, while ensuring delivery excellence through instituting and following a consistent methodology, industry best practices, and processes / systems to enable it.
Oversees the design and delivery of organizational change management strategies and activities in support of total project success.
As needed, works with organizational stakeholders to develop strategic analyses, business cases, and other duties as assigned.
You will work closely with internal business and technology stakeholders at junior and senior levels to understand their needs and coordinate delivery.
You will also work closely with internal and external consulting thought partners to keep up the knowledge on latest program management trends, relevant certifications, and governance structures.
The ability to both coordinate timelines, contingencies and dependencies of work plans as well as communicate progress and drive decision-making at an executive level is a must. For more details, please see the attached job description.
3-8 Years of Experience.
Successfully managed complex business projects.
Needs to be able to articulate that they can understand the big picture; how the project is tied to business outcomes.
Can demonstrate that they can work in an ambiguous environment. Interview panel will ask for examples.
