Legal and Compliance:
Professionals within Legal and Compliance provide a wide range of services to our business units. They might help to structure a complex and sensitive cross-border transaction; advise on a new product introduction; develop a training program or defuse an investor dispute. They preserve the firm’s invaluable reputation for integrity and protect the firm from sanctions with policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements around the world. They also strive to maintain cooperative relationships with governmental policy makers and the regulatory and self-regulatory agencies that govern the firm’s businesses.
The Information Management team focuses on the firm’s ability to effectively retain, retrieve and protect information to meet its obligations and generate value for its customers and shareholders.
As part of a team focused on understanding the quantitative and qualitative fabric of the Firm’s information repositories, you will have the opportunity to analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data to build NLP/ML/MR solutions.
We have been building a knowledge graph of referential data and a knowledge base of terms and concepts to facilitate content search, insights discovery and information governance. We are looking for a candidate with experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our Information Management team and help build and deploy machine-learning models and systems to support the effective management of information across the Firm.
2 + years of experience with design and implementation of machine learning, deep learning, knowledge bases, recommendation systems, information retrieval, natural language understanding.
2+ years of experience in R or Python
Experience with Semantic Web Standards (RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or another quantitative field.
Experience with embeddings, clustering, recommendation systems and predictive modeling.
Experience with algorithm development.
Experience with H2O, MXNet, Keras or TensorFlow.
Experience with Java.
Experience with some of the following: Marklogic, Stardog, Virtuoso, AllegroGraph, Neptune, CosmosDB, Neo4j, Stanford CoreNLP, GATE NLP, Word2Vec, Protégé, Smartlogic, Dataiku or Data.World, Web Services, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON.
Experience working with new technology while working closely with software developers.
