Our client is looking for a Cyber Security professional who can primarily drive multiple cyber security remediation projects, as well as act as an adviser to internal customers and senior management on security problems. The chosen candidate will work within client’s Security Problem Management team in CISO Cyber Security.

This will require someone with a strong work ethic, a passion for cyber security and excellent project management skills. As a project manager for Cyber Security problem management you will pick up and drive Security Problem Management related items to closure in collaboration with other Cyber Security teams and other GT IT departments.


Cyber Security:

  • Security Experience in a technical or operational role of at least 2-3 security domains.

  • Expertise in System Administration and Security Settings.

  • Expertise in Firewalls technologies (rules, etc).

  • Fundamentals of Network and Application Security - Strengths and Weaknesses.

  • Strong knowledge in latest vulnerabilities, security trends and their effect on large corporate technology environments.

  • Ability to do Vulnerability Assessment and Risk Management (Policies, Standards and Guidelines).

  • Some programming experience and database know-how would be a plus.

  • Experience in Service Definition, Service Level Management, KPI tracking.

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Project Management:

  • Successful management of matrix based projects.

  • Ensure the project is planned in a manner that delivers to the required cost and quality and within the agreed scope, including appropriate milestone definition, work breakdown structure, dependencies, and assumptions.

  • Ensure the project is resourced appropriately.

  • Ensure the project work is executed and implemented according to the plan or any agreed changes to the plan and according to agreed project management standards.

  • Ensure relevant and appropriate analysis, management information, and reporting is provided.

  • Ensure that requirements, plans, risks, issues, actions, costs, schedules, benefits, and other related project artifacts are documented and tracked.

  • Ensure that appropriate meetings are held and that outputs and artifacts are produced and distributed. Chair the relevant meetings.

  • Utilize the relevant governance bodies / steering committees for the purpose they are established.

  • Ensure project stakeholder awareness, engagement, and communication.

  • Analyze and identify possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve them or escalate as appropriate.

  • Proposal to adjust financial plan, when better insight reveals more appropriate costs.

  • Ensure the project spends according to the agreed financial plan.

  • Manage project team members consistent with our management principles.

  • Ensure the project closes according to required procedures.



  • Should be able to handle multiple tasks with careful attention to details.

  • Must be capable of working under pressure and with multiple teams across the globe/time zones.

  • Possess excellent communication, analytical and documentation skills at all levels.

  • Ability to work proactively and dynamically.

  • Effective problem solving skills to quickly narrow down to problems.

  • Willingness to share Security related know how to educate customers of the security analysis abilities of the Security Incident and Problem Management team.

  • Good team player, but also strong character to enforce the resolution of discovered IT Security issues.


  • University degree in Computer Science or similar.

  • One or more of following certifications a preferred: CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CCNP, CWSA, CEPT, or SANS.

  • Certifications GCIH, GCIA, GCFW), CCNA, CWNA, CEH, MCSE or related certification on an operating system.

  • PMP (optional).
