POSITION DETAILS

Contract

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, experienced, hands-on Project Management experience to create/refine business requirements, define functional specifications, and provide support to the project Team. The candidate will report to a Sr. Project/Program Manager and will be responsible for helping refine the deliverables generated during the business/systems analysis phase and should be familiar with Agile methodology in Banking / Wealth Management domain.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with Sr. PM and development managers to ensure projects have a time, cost and delivery plan; and deliver high quality software as a result of proactive planning and mitigation of issues.

  2. Assist in Documenting business and functional requirements, including data flow, business rules, and Use cases

  3. Assist in the change management and QA/Testing phases of the project by implement software quality assurance initiatives for projects within Wealth Management

  4. Assist in coordinating business unit subject matter expert meetings in order to solicit and cross-reference business and functional requirements.

  5. Assess the impact of changes on existing business and technology processes, as well as other interfacing systems

  6. Some day-to-day support of the Work-Stream Leads key run-the-bank responsibilities (e.g., Release Management, Incident Management/troubleshooting)

  7. Adhere to toolsets & procedures and embrace them with their project management skills

  8. Management reporting including creation, collation & publishing of regional & functional dashboards9. Work with geographically dispersed teams, specially team(s) in India


REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience working in Agile

  • Wealth management experience is a must.

  • At least 4 years (relevant) IT experience in delivering high quality software in a large complex banking organization or major consulting organization focused on a BA-PM type role

  • Outstanding relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications

  • Strong understanding of Business Analysis and Project Management concepts, SDLC methodologies and Operating models (Agile & Waterfall)

  • Worked on projects in Banking or Wealth Management domain (preferably US), preferably in market risk and/or credit risk domain

  • Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment

  • Managed projects on different technology platforms i.e. Legacy (mainframes) or Open systems (.Net, Java, etc), on different Operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux)
